About Anita

Anita is a teacher who has worked in the area of special education for the last 20 years. Most recently Anita worked as a Head Teacher – Disability Consultant with TAFE and as an Assistant Principal – Vision Support in schools in the North Coast Region of New South Wales. Anita’s expertise in inclusive technology has seen her facilitate professional learning activities, coordinate the North Coast Assistive Technology Group and support the allocation and implementation of technologies for students across school and TAFE settings.

Head Teacher/ Disability Consultant-Vision North Coast Institute of TAFE NSW based at Kingscliff TAFE October 2010 – Current

Responsibility for point of contact support + provision and coordination of reasonable adjustments for students who have a disability in the Far North Campuses of NCI TAFE, and for the provision of specialist support throughout the 17 campuses of the North Coast Region for students who have a vision impairment. Also provide training and support to teaching staff- both face to face and online delivery of training, and have role of Faculty E-Learning Consultant in the area of disability support and access.
