Animated talking tutor for language lessons!

Timo’s Lesson Creator with PCS allows teachers, speech pathologists/therapists and parents to create customised vocabulary and language lessons for children with special needs. The lessons feature an animated tutor, Timo, who coaches children onscreen, engages children in a conversational dialogue as they progress through the program, offering encouragement and direction as needed.

There are just three easy steps to creating, using and sharing multimedia lessons.

1. Select pictures or PCS Any type of photo or graphic images can be used in Timo’s Lesson Creator, including Mayer-Johnson’s Picture Communication Symbols that come with the program, photographs or clip art images obtained from other sources.
2. Tell Timo what to say Built-in flexibility allows lesson authors to change what Timo says in every part of the program – it’s as easy as just typing in a sentence.
3. Use the lesson or share with others! Upload or email lessons you’ve created to share with other teachers, parents and therapists to use with their students – or modify for a student’s particular need.
