A theme-based collection of 35 activities drawn from the story Colourful Caterpillar

IntelliTools’ ReadyMade Story Kits are thematic units based on adapted and original stories or songs and feature patterned language and familiar refrains. Each adventure begins by reading a printed storybook and is enhanced with a lively Interactive Storybook with animations for engaging fun. Further onscreen reading experiences include both fiction and non-fiction texts. Each Story Kit includes up to 35 standards-aligned activities newly created in IntelliTools Classroom Suite, equipped with answer checking so teachers can assess a student’s progress. Teachers are further supported with an extensive resource PDF full of printable games and away-from-the-computer activities.

The Colourful Caterpillar story introduces students to the concepts of colour and number while following the metamorphic process of the caterpillar.

As the caterpillar eats flowers, ‘something strange happens’ and her body becomes covered with colourful spots.
