What is Makaton?
Makaton is often known as key word sign and gesture. It is system of communication based on a combination of spoken words, sign language vocabulary (originally adapted from British Sign Language), and graphic symbols.
The idea is to use key word signing to support the communication development of children or adults who are unable to speak, or whose speech is difficult to understand.

Makaton Vocabulary – Auslan Edition CD-ROM
This interactive CD-ROM with speech and video allows you to refresh, revise and practise the signs. The CD-ROM is recommended to accompany the Makaton Vocabulary book. The CD-ROM includes:

Windows Vista has improved security measures in the operating system. Occasionally there may be difficulty in getting the Makaton CD-ROM to play. If this occurs, you need to down load the latest copies of:
