Story Quilt: Ask students to draw a picture at the top of their quilt square. Then, have them write a short story describing their drawing below.
Maths
Symmetry Quilt: Show students a few examples of symmetrical shapes, drawing an accurate line of symmetry in the centre. Then, have them draw a symmetrical shape on their quilt square. Next, ask them to draw a line of symmetry through their own shape.
Science
Seasons Quilt: Talk about the four seasons with your students. Then, ask them to draw a representation of a season and write three things about it on their quilt square.
