Print ‘n Play Games, by Pat Mervine, Michele Burton, and Linn Wood, is a set of over 50 nifty games for speech, language, and AAC development. There are 25 Bingo games to teach and practise theme-related symbol and print vocabulary, and 25 Mystery games using theme related vocabulary to teach and practise various question and answer forms.

In these games, one player secretly selects four vocabulary items to set up a make-believe mystery that relates to a season, holiday or thematic unit. The rest of the group tries to guess what items were selected. These games can be incorporated with other activities, such as an art project.

Print ‘n Play Games, Print ‘n Play Dice Games, Print ‘n Learn Community Units and Print ‘n Learn Thematic Units focus on shared themes. Use them together to provide varied multisensory exposure to new vocabulary and concepts in order to learn and retain words.
Suggestions are included to allow learners who use augmentative communication systems to actively participate.
The manual also provides advice for incorporating skills such as reading, writing, counting and following directions into thematic units.
