L*E*O is a high-quality communication device that uses a language-enhancing card (overlay) system. Activate pre-recorded, digitised speech messages simply by touching pictures or symbols in a grid or scene. You can also use L*E*O’s infrared commands to control lights, small appliances, adapted toys, television, VCR, or DVD.

What is L*E*O?
L*E*O is always on and ready to speak. Activate pre-recorded, digitised speech messages simply by touching pictures or symbols in a grid or scene.
L*E*O is a snap to set up and use. Just press the mode button to record your messages. Record your messages onto cards with an ID number and L*E*O will automatically remember them when you insert that card. Up to 20 cards can be recorded and stored on-board. Alternatively, use its powerful Windows desktop software to program. Making your own cards couldn’t be easier with templates provided in Boardmaker, MS Word or PDF formats.
You can also record messages and infrared signals directly from L*E*O, or use its desktop software to customise for individual users.
At under 1 kg, L*E*O is easy to carry anywhere. The carrying strap allows L*E*O to be worn in multiple ways, ready to flip up into place for instant use. The long life built-in battery lasts up to a week.
L*E*O is available in both a standard model and a scanning model). The scanning model offers multiple scanning options for one or two switches, including auditory prompts.
