Notetaker, Don Johnston’s electronic highlighting pen, provides a portable off-computer link to the strategic environment of SOLO. It is perfect for students who struggle with reading comprehension or collecting data and notes for the purpose of writing. Notetaker accurately captures information from any paper text and quickly deposits it into Read:OutLoud SOLO, Draft:Builder SOLO, Write:OutLoud SOLO or any other text applications such as word processors. From within SOLO, students can hear the text read and organise information for studying and writing.
