We will soon be adding information about the types of technologies of value to students for whom English is not their first language (ESL or ESOL students). They may be resident in Australia or New Zealand or may be temporarily studying as one of the many international students we are proud to have included in our secondary and tertiary educational institutions. What types of technologies can be useful to overcome the difficulties associated with trying to study when English is not a first language? There are a range of hardware and software options – which can be used alone or in combination with each other.

In future, we will be building a feature which will allow you to search just for items on our website of relevance to ESL/ESOL and international students. This will include results not just for technologies, but for relevant articles, help sheets and activity exchange entries as well. We are working on it for you!
