The MyTobii P10 eye gaze system has an “eye gaze evaluator” feature which enables assessment of visual motor skills including visual tracking, fixation and colour preferences. Occupational Therapists at Novita Children’s Services in Adelaide have been using this as a tool for the last 12 months to assist with assessment of vision of clients who are using AAC. Usefulness of this technology to assist with identifying design parameters for high tech and low tech AAC systems will be discussed and demonstrated.
