Texthelp software has been successfully used to help students with literacy difficulties in schools, TAFEs and universities for over 12 years, with major implementations at county, state and country wide level across the world.

This session will focus on the implementation of Read&Write GOLD, a flexible and simple toolbar that “floats” on top of any open application and which helps students to compose text, proof-read their work using text-to-speech
facilities and collate research material.

• Identify the firm research foundations which have been used to develop the software and ensure its efficacy.
• Offer a complete guide to implementation from assessing the needs of your institution, carrying out a pilot, administering technical tests, applying the software across the curriculum and conducting a post-implementation assessment.
• Provide a case study of an educational institution in the UK where the software has been successfully implemented.
• Show video feedback from students and teachers on their experiences of the software.
