As the Manager of the Training Services at Texthelp Systems in Northern Ireland, Jackie has been involved in training people in the use of Read&Write software for over ten years and estimates that she has trained well over 5000 users of the program in that time! She has helped see the Texthelp company grow from a small team of four to the current team of 80 employees required to keep up with the demand for this popular literacy support software. Jackie has developed Texthelp’s Certified Training programme and has been involved in the certification of trainers around the globe. This programme has become the de facto standard for training in Texthelp software and reached its 1000th Certified Trainer in 2009. She has also been involved in helping the implementation of country, county and state wide purchases of Texthelp software.

After being disabled out of a ten year nursing career, Jackie returned to study at Queens University in Belfast, completing a Degree in Information Management, before commencing her Texthelp training role.
