Jeff Souter has been involved in teaching and special education for over 20 years. For the past 17 years Jeff has work has focused on implementing ICTs to enhance the learning opportunities for students with special needs. In 1995 Jeff joined Education Queensland’s Assistive Technology Services, providing professional advice and working with students to aid in their access to the curriculum through assistive technologies. Currently Jeff is the Coordinator of the Learning Development Centre – ICTs – Students with Disabilities. Jeff has held this position since 2003 when the Centre was established. The centre provides professional development activities in using ICTs to support pedagogy and enhance learning opportunities for all students and is available for providing professional support to schools and educators in Queensland. The centre also undertakes research projects in the use of ICTs to enhance learning for all students.
