Kristin Whitfield is a speech-language pathologist specialising in the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) with both adults and children. In addition to her clinical practice, she has presented on the topic of AAC at local, national, and international conferences and has had several articles appear in AAC publications. Currently, she is the manager of Clinical Education and Implementation at DynaVox Mayer-Johnson. Previously, Kristin has worked in an outpatient clinic, schools, a rehabilitation hospital and home-based settings in Maine, Illinois, South Dakota and Michigan.
