Bas Tijdhof
Bas Tijdhof commenced his career in Assistive Technology working as an AT professional at
Roessingh Rehabilitation Centre in the Netherlands (1999). He helped grow the Assistive
Technology department into a successful commercial business (Rdgkompagne) with 3 offices and 50 staff. With 12 years experience in the Assistive Technology sector, he has built an
extensive network of national and international relations in the interesting world of Assistive Technology and AAC.
In 2008, Bas founded Link-AT (www.linkassistive.com), an Assistive Technology company based in Adelaide. Link-AT is a supplier of AAC and AT products with a focus on mounting solutions for AAC devices and accessibility products, the Tobii Technology product range (Tobii C-Series, Tobii Communicator, Tobii S32, Tobii PCEye etc) and text-to-speech devices like the SpeakOut and Lightwriter.
Bas studied Human Kinetic Technology at The Hague University in the Netherlands and lives in
the Adelaide region, Australia.
