Angeline King
Angeline King joined the Texthelp team in 2004 and works closely with educational establishments, corporations and the public sector to assist with the implementation of Read&Write GOLD, Texthelp’s flagship literacy support software. ‘My role involves providing information sessions to any company or institution with a literacy support requirement, coordinating pilots and tests and tailoring solutions to suit the needs of the end-user,’ says Angeline who has overseen the implementation of Read&Write GOLD in over 90% of tertiary institutions in the UK. Angeline has also been instrumental in the International sales of Texthelp software, managing relationships with distributors such as Spectronics in Australia and New Zealand, and training International schools throughout Europe.
Having completed her undergraduate degree at the Queen’s University, Belfast and Masters at the University of Ulster, Angeline has worked in education and IT for nine years. Angeline has a particular interest in using Texthelp software to support those who have English as a Second Language. This stemmed from her experience of teaching English to Secondary School students in France. Angeline has also worked in Educational Publishing with McGraw-Hill Ltd in the Netherlands, which has given her an insight into the difficulties of providing textbooks in accessible formats.
