I invite you to participate in the third biennial Inclusive Learning Technologies® Conference to be hosted by Spectronics. The conference focuses specifically on "inclusive learning technologies" - those technologies designed to advance independent achievement for people with disabilities in educational settings and in the workplace, and for students who struggle with reading and writing.
We expect 500 to 600 delegates from across Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia to participate over the four days of the conference. Teachers from early childhood through to secondary school level, Workplace OHS Advisers, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, ICT procurement decision-makers and Disability Liaison Officers from Universities and TAFES will all be attending.
This is the third time Spectronics, Australia and New Zealand`s largest supplier of inclusive learning technologies, has hosted the conference. It was born out of a desire to raise the awareness of the empowering options of technology for ALL! There simply were no other conferences meeting this need. The exponential growth of interest in the conference confirms that this was a niche that needed to be filled!

SPONSOR A TEACHER FROM A REMOTE AREA TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE
 | This is an excellent opportunity to show your support for teachers and students in remote communities of Australia. Sponsor a teacher from a remote area to attend the Inclusive Learning Technologies Conference 2008! The sponsorship will allow one lucky teacher to have all costs associated with attendance of the conference covered - including return airfares, 3-day Conference registration, Pre-Conference Workshop registration, five nights accommodation and breakfast at the conference venue (Marriott Resort and Spa) at discounted conference rates and attendance of the gala conference dinner. The added costs of travelling often make conference attendance impossible for teachers working in remote area schools. Your sponsorship will make attendance possible - directly benefiting the students of a remote area school too.
We are happy to work with your preferred geographic area for selection of the teacher to be sponsored and will of course acknowledge your contribution on the conference website, in the printed program and during the conference on the Sponsors` slide opening all sessions.

SPONSOR A PARENT/CARER TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE
 | The Conference Committee has worked hard to gain Commonwealth Government National Disability Conference Funding to support attendance of the conference by ten people with disabilities, carers or parents of people with disabilities. Unfortunately ten sponsorships will not be enough!! We have already received over 100 applications - with four months to go until the funding applications close! The stories told speak of hardship - particularly for those in remote areas - some of whom have not left the house or farm for years because of their parent/carer role. Many see the benefit of technologies to assist in their own situations, in their schools and in the wider local community and are keen to learn more and share the knowledge gained at the conference.
Your sponsorship will give one of these incredibly deserving applicants the wonderful chance to attend the conference! It will include return airfares, a 3-day Conference registration, Pre-Conference Workshop registration, five nights accommodation and breakfast at the conference venue (Marriott Resort and Spa) at discounted conference rates and attendance of the gala conference dinner.

CLOSING SESSION PRIZE POOL!
 | Donate a prize for the Conference Closing Session and it will be featured on the Conference website prize pool page at www.spectronicsinoz.com/conference/prizepool. The sooner you pledge your donation, the longer your product and brand will be up online - maximising the value of your donation! The prize pool will also be promoted in printed materials and in emailed promotions to potential delegates. The prizes can only be claimed by delegates staying on for the Closing Session of the conference. They will be on display prominently throughout the conference - from registration on Day One through to the conference end - complete with a list of all sponsors who have contributed to the prize pool!

Exhibition Opportunities
The Inclusive Learning Technologies® Conference 2008 Committee will be hosting a Trade Exhibition to coincide with the conference. Spectronics has booked exclusive use of all rooms and facilities on Level One of the Marriott Resort and Spa - both for the main conference program presentations and for the Trade Exhibition.
As the Trade Exhibition will be held in the same area as the conference presentations and morning/afternoon tea/lunch breaks - there will be minimal "loss of delegates" to other areas of the hotel during the conference.
To further encourage delegate participation in the Trade Exhibition, Spectronics plans to host a free two-hour "Drinks and Canapes" function to be held in the Exhibition area - from 5pm to 7pm on Day One of the conference (Tuesday 13th May). No presentations have been scheduled to compete with this function.
On Day Three of the conference, a dedicated "Trade Exhibition Viewing Time" has been scheduled between morning tea and the lunchbreak (Thursday 15th May). No presentations have been scheduled to compete with this time slot.
A full Exhibitor`s pack will be forwarded closer to the time of the conference but to assist your planning, exhibit bump-in can occur between 4pm and 6pm on Monday 12th May - and from 7.30am on Tuesday 13th May. The Trade Exhibition will officially be open from 8.30am on Tuesday 13th May to 5pm on Thursday 15th May. Overnight security will be provided on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

- Applications must be submitted using the Sponsorship/Exhibition Booking Form.
Sponsorship and Exhibition Prospectus and Booking Form
- Exhibition booths will be allocated in order of receipt of completed Sponsorship/Exhibition Booking Form AND payment in full for the booking
- The Organisers reserve the right, at their total discretion, to decline any application
- All payments must be made in Australian Dollars
- Payment options are as detailed on the Sponsorship/Exhibition Booking Form
Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel your exhibition booking for any reason please advise the Conference Committee as soon as possible. A full refund will be given only if the conference committee is able to find a replacement exhibitor. If no replacement exhibitor is found then 50% of your full payment will be forfeited.
For cancellation of additional furniture organised through our appointed furniture and AV supplier, please contact Pyramid Displays directly.

Conference Venue

The epitome of five star elegance, the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa combines casual Queensland charm with superior international style to create a unique, unrivalled Gold Coast experience.
An aquatic playground forms the centerpiece of the resort and spreads across a hectare of exquisitely landscaped gardens. This includes a five-metre deep saltwater lagoon, home to more then 400 tropical fish which resort guests can snorkel and swim with through waterfalls into rock grottos and spas.
