Talking Nouns and Verbs Series - Sterling Edition

These programs encourage children and adults with speech or language impairments to express themselves. They provide an interactive environment for language exploration and communication exchange.
Talking Nouns I, Talking Nouns II, and Talking Verbs give children and adults with language impairments the opportunity to communicate. Students simply select a word, phrase, or picture to make the computer speak. Corresponding pictures of nouns or verbs appear on the screen.
This series includes:
- Talking Nouns I Sterling Edition
Lets students communicate using 50 early developing nouns. - Talking Nouns II Sterling Edition
Includes an additional 50 early developing nouns. This program expands vocabulary and increases communication opportunities.
- Talking Verbs Sterling Edition
Allows students to communicate using 40 early verbs in the following areas: actions, communication, locomotion, recreation, sensory/motor, using household instruments, and more!
The programs offer a variety of activities that
- reinforce vocabulary comprehension
- teach the formation of grammatically correct sentences
- improve visual discrimination
- and develop conversational turn-taking.
They also offer an economical way to train skills needed to use a dedicated augmentative communication device.
