Free “Intro to Google Apps for Education” Webinars Now Available
Reposted with permission from blog.texthelp.com
I continue to be amazed by the number of schools throughout North America that have “Gone Google.” This past week at the Annual Conference for Middle Level Education in Nashville, TN was no exception. Teachers from across the US stopped by to talk about their Google experience and to learn more about what tools were available to support them and their students.
Because of the continued growth of Google in classrooms I am offering two free “Intro to Google Apps for Education” webinars for anyone interested. I’ve included the description and registration details below. I hope to see you there!
Thousands of schools and millions of students across North America are using Google Apps for Education to create, consume and collaborate on information every day. If that isn’t enough, as of September 2014 Chromebooks were the largest selling EDU device in the US, with almost 50% share of the market. These numbers suggest that Google’s presence in the classroom will only continue to grow as time goes on.
The purpose of this free webinar is to provide Google Apps for Education users with a basic overview of what “Going Google” means along with tips and tricks to make your Google Apps experience a positive one. While designed with those new to using Google Apps in mind, everyone should expect to pick up something new in this fast paced online session. Topics covered will include how to use Google Drive, Docs, Presentations, Extensions, Apps and more.
