First up – we have just completed a fantastic new conference brochure. This will give you a great picture of what to expect at the conference next year – on top of the five Keynote Speakers we now also have four Featured Presenters locked in! Check out each of their backgrounds on pages 4 and 5 of the brochure. You can also get a feel for the program structure with the final program to be completed and ready for you towards the end of the year.
You can download a copy of the conference brochure now from the conference home page, or if you’d prefer, I am happy to mail you a hard copy – just let me know and I’ll pop one in the mail for you. If you need more than one – of course I’ll send as many as you need to help spread the word!

We are very excited to have confirmed a hands-on Mac Laptop Lab and iPad/Mobile Devices Lab – EACH seating 90 participants! AND you will have FULL access to Apple’s Distinguished Educators (travelling from the USA and across Australia) in the dedicated Apple Learning Lounge! The final piece of exciting Apple news (for now at least) is that we have confirmed Mark Coppin as one of our Featured Presenters. Mark is an Apple Distinguished Educator and a RESNA Certified Assistive Technology Professional who manages the Assistive Technology Service of the Anne Carlsen Center in the USA. He will be joining the Australian team in the Apple Learning Lounge and will be leading some exciting hands-on sessions in the Macs and the iPad labs along with presentations in the main program.
We are currently in the process of securing a Windows Laptop Lab for the conference (another 90 participant hands-on lab) and are working with a number of our industry contacts to confirm this. We are still negotiating at this stage – so for those of you who may have any connections who might be interested in showcasing their laptops in the dedicated Windows Laptop Lab at the conference, please let me know! I can be contacted via phone on 07 3808 6833, or email email@example.com. It is a fantastic opportunity to get in front of 1,000 tech-savvy delegates!
Registration for the conference is now open – you can register online now to book your place! PLUS we have secured an Early Bird Conference Registration Prize from Jupiters. Register before Monday 9th April 2012 and you may be the lucky winner of a fantastic dinner and show package for two, valued at $198! See the conference website for more information.
A reminder too that the Call for Papers is also open – submit your abstracts online via the conference website by Wednesday 31st August 2011.
