Another Proloquo2Go 3.0 feature – coming soon

Now, I really am getting excited about the new Proloquo2Go version 3.0 update that will be coming in the next few months.speech bubbles
I’ve just been reading about the next cool feature on the AssistiveWare blog.
Another expressive feature will be that the user won’t be limited to the one voice. You will be able to go into edit mode and assign different voices to different buttons! Which means you can really start to have some fun with storytelling, doll or other imaginative play, drama and even some fun prank calls for teens. The applications are endless.
If you haven’t listened to some of the great voices available through earlier updates you’ll be pleased to know there is one called Will-Little Creature which sounds similar Yoda from Star Wars. Or you can sound like Queen Elizabeth or a Texan cowboy.
Imagine the fun you can create with different voices in schools, the clinic setting, home and when you are out and about. And it’s good to know you can keep your “regular” voice for the usual chit chat and then have special pages for those fun voices.
This would have been a handy feature for me the other day when I was pretending to be a British game show host during a kids program I was running :)
