Do I need the registration number when installing Boardmaker version 5 for Mac?
If installing this software on Macintosh Operating System 10 (OS X):
Just follow the installation instructions. It will not ask you for a registration number at all because you have to have the CD-ROM in the drive to use the program.
Note: You can install this software on any OSX computer because again to utilise it you have to have the CD-ROM in the drive and therefore can only use one copy of it at a time.
If installing this software on Macintosh Operating Systems 8.6-9.2:
You will require the FULL registration number to install the software NOT just the registration number listed on the cover of the CD-ROM.
If you have received your copy of Boardmaker for Mac version 5 and do not have a FULL REGISTRATION NUMBER please contact Spectronics for assistance.
The FULL registration number will look like:
XXXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
(a mixture of letters and numbers).
When you install the program just follow the installation instructions.
To launch the program, double-click on the Boardmaker v5 icon found on your computer’s desktop. As the program starts up, you will be asked to register the program. Click on the “Register Now” button and enter your registration information EXACTLY as it has been provided to you. Once you have entered this information you will not be asked for it again.

Note: If you have to use the FULL REGISTRATION NUMBER you are only able to install the software on ONE computer as the Boardmaker CD-ROM does NOT need to be in the drive to utilise the software. License agreement is one copy equals one user at a time.
