Description:

There are three activities included in this grid set.

  • Match the coins and notes
    In this activity, students learn to recognize and match coins and notes to $10. Students see examples of coins and notes. By clicking on a coin, the picture disappears. They are then required to select the correct coin to match the label from a pop-up grid.

  • Counting coins to 30c
    Students are encouraged to use quick counting strategies (counting in 5s and 10s) to make equivalent coin sets that equal 20 or 30 cents. Answers are sent to Clicker Writer and can be printed out.

  • Counting coins to $1.00
    Students are encouraged to use quick counting strategies (counting in 5s, 10s, 20s) to make equivalent coin sets that equal 45 cents, 80 cents or $1.00. Answers are sent to Clicker Writer and can be printed out.
